Isabella knew she had found her forever home when the house she created fond memories babysitting at came up for sale. A 1970s home situated on a large, beautiful lot, the house required some upgrades to become the perfect setting for Isabella and Curt. Major renovations included opening up the space on the first floor for hosting their two grown children when they returned home, creating a large kitchen and pantry, and prioritizing work from home spaces. A tiny old staircase leading to the basement/garage area was removed and replaced with a spiral staircase to create more floor space on the main level. The clients enjoy their new screened porch with a fireplace, looking out over their wooded lot. The exterior received a facelift, including painting the brick, new windows and painted shutters. All bedrooms and bathrooms were updated and the master suite includes a spacious closet and luxurious spa bathroom.
We had a wonderful experience with Phase One Design. We undertook a major renovation project while living 3 hours away and knew we would need a group who would not only guide us, but who could also be available when we could not be there.
