Charming Cottage Renovation

Cottage Charm

Entire home renovation to include kitchen, pantry, master suite, laundry room, two guest bathrooms, living room, large screened in porch, additional bedrooms.

This cottage had was originally built in the early 1900’s and had been abandoned and burned.  It was completely gutted and we designed a new floor plan that gave this old cottage a more updated modern layout that included an updated kitchen that included a large island, lots of cabinetry, and a very functional walk-in pantry.  The feature of this beautiful kitchen was the back of the large stone fireplace that was covered in white brick that became the backdrop for the clients new stainless steel gas stove and oven.  The clients’ were very interested in keeping the cottages’ character and charm at the center of this renovation so simple trim work, white walls and wood floors were used throughout the home.  Original stonework on the fireplace and the exterior of the home along with exterior white wood and black framed windows left a wonderful first impression!

We hired Azalea Building Group (formerly TFO Contracting Solutions) to renovate our 100 year old cottage. This was a huge undertaking, but Pam and her team had creative and trending ideas that combined the old with the new beautifully! Pam is very detailed with her designing and will make sure the job is done right. We are very happy in our New/Old lovely Cottage!
