This space has been built to be a multi-funcitonal, luxurious space for the whole family. The focus was on making the space work as a guest house, but double as a beautiful addition to their backyard oasis. A color pallete consisting of natural wood, light neutrals, and a contrast of dark accents was used throughout the space. Herringbone floors run throughout the living and bedrooms give this project a chic cohesive look. Modern touches are used in the waterfall edge counters in the kitchen, large black framed windows, and high vaulted ceilings
The architecture of this space was designed to maximize the square footage of the small building area while making it feel open and bright. Vaulted ceilings throughout gives the space that open feel and created oppoutunity for loft areas. This space also has a wrap around deck and an outdoor shower that connects with an indoor shower providing easy access to clean off after a day at the pool. The living area has wooden beam accenting the vaulted ceilling as well as an electric fire place and large sliding doors to make the space elegant and welcoming. The kitchen contains a range, fridge, bar area, and an island with a sink and dishwasher, as well as a hidden laundry closet. This space was created to be a functional and relaxing place for guests and the entire family.
